is a California class action against:
WHOLE
FOOD MARKET, IP, L.P.
WHOLE
FOOD MARKET CALIFORNIA, INC.
on behalf of all those
who purchased food from Whole Food Market which is alleged to
have mislabeled food sold by weight, so that consumers thought
they were buying more food than what was actually contained in
the packaging, and therefore paid more per pound than what was
advertised. The suit asks for injunctive relief, an order requiring
defendants to restore money that defendants may have acquired
as a result of any act or practice constituting unfair competition
under Business & Professions Code, Section 17200, et.
seq. and attorneys' fees.
